Welcome to Handmadee, where ‘Handmade‘ meets ‘Eco‘.
The name Handmadee is formed from the words handmade and eco. It reflects our way of working—by hand, with natural materials, and with care for the environment we are part of.
Handmadee grew from rural Vietnam, where I was born and raised. In that environment, handmade work was part of everyday life—woven fabrics, naturally dyed cloth, and hand-made tools were part of everyday life. Making things by hand was not a concept, but a normal way of living alongside nature.
These experiences shaped how we see materials and processes today. Over time, they led to Handmadee—a platform that works with handmade textiles and natural fibers, and seeks to keep these materials relevant in a changing world.
Handmadee is not a single workshop. Our products are made through a small workshop of our own and through collaboration with independent artisans and small craft groups from different regions. We select materials and work processes carefully, focusing on handmade quality, natural fibers, and simple, responsible methods.
Handmadee continues to grow through working closely with materials, makers, and people who care about how things are made. We work slowly, learn continuously, and adjust as we go.

Handmadee works mainly with:
- Handwoven textiles such as cotton, hemp, silk, and ramie
- Naturally dyed fabrics using indigo and plant-based dyes
- Raw materials including yarns and undyed woven cloth
We offer two main directions:
- Finished textile products such as table linens, pillow covers, quilts, and throws
- Raw materials for designers, studios, and brands who want to develop their own work
Some fabrics are woven by hand, others are carefully selected and dyed by hand. Finishing and sewing are done in small local workshops.
We work directly with artisan communities and small workshops, without intermediaries. We stay involved in sourcing, material selection, and production steps to ensure clarity and consistency.
Our work values process over speed. Natural variation in color, texture, and weave is part of the material, not something we try to remove.

Handmadee sees itself as part of a wider system of land, people, and materials. We aim to work carefully and think long-term, rather than taking more than what is needed.
When possible, a portion of our revenue is used to support small craft communities, textile villages, and local knowledge connected to natural materials. This support is practical and aligned with what we can do responsibly at our current scale.
